Suffolk (UK) based psychedelic indie-rock project founded by singer-songwriter R.P. Warrington in 2020. With lush, genre-blending sounds likened to “Beach Boys meets Big Star,” “Bolanesque” and “Crooning Beatlesy”. One radio station called it “mellow rock ‘n’ roll road music”.
Joined by a rotating cast of acclaimed collaborators, This Machine Kills Archons has released four EPs showcasing a unique blend of retro flair and modern insight.
Inspired by his grandfather who was an accomplished poet, singer and harmonica player – R. P. Warrington developed his love for song writing and music from a young age. He shares his take on the world with audiences, engaging them with high energy performances of songs that delve into concepts of freedom of the the human spirit and the culture of the time.
The fourth and most recent EP ‘Day Revelation’ came out on 18 August 2025 – RGM press wrote:
